ABOUT
Informative.Ink, LLC is a dynamic new publishing house specializing in books that are helpful and engaging to the general reader. Our five imprints—Clear-Cut Guides, Insightful Reads, Civitates Books, NourishVerse, and Radiant✺Kids—offer unique perspectives in a style that’s conversational and easy to understand. We believe in making knowledge readable, accessible, and affordable.
At the start, we’ll publish books that a single author, our founder, has been researching and writing for many years. But we look forward to bringing you a more diverse range of voices and experiences soon, through accepted submissions, open author calls, and commissioned works.
We’re more than just a publisher; we’re partners in the literary journey, committed to nurturing and bringing our readers compelling stories and insightful information.
-
To empower readers and authors, and publish compelling, affordable, readable nonfiction and children’s books that inform, engage, and inspire, fostering a community where knowledge is accessible and diverse voices are heard and celebrated.
-
Informative.Ink books will be available in a variety of ways and formats, including bookstores, online, direct from us (for bulk/group sales), and, for select titles, audiobooks and library editions.
-
If you work (full-time, part-time, or freelance) for a publication, media company, website, or other organization that produces book reviews for the public (or for organization members), you may contact the publisher for an advance reader copy.
-
Not at this time. We are still establishing the guidelines and boundaries within which we will accept submissions. Until then, we must delete, without reading or even opening, any submissions we receive.
-
Yes! In 2025 we will have at least one open call for author submissions, and more in 2026. Complete details, including guidelines, criteria, and dates, will follow.

Authors conceive of most books, submitting them through representatives to publishers for consideration. We’re exploring another avenue as well: we would conceive of the subject (and, to an extent, even the content) and commission authors to write the book. With this alternative, we would seek those who both have an understanding of the subject and demonstrate the ability to write clearly, informatively, and engagingly, focusing on new and underrepresented writers. We’ll post more information about this possibility in the coming months.

Our founder's experience as an author and editor brings a unique understanding of the writing process, writers’ fears and aspirations, and the courage it takes just to start writing. It informs every aspect of our process, from research to acquisition to development to marketing to ancillary and subsidiary rights.
We’re focused on the journey for our readers and our authors.
